Pastoral Encounter Review Student Confidentiality Agreement

 

NSWCCPE is providing students with the ability to use online video conferencing to continue their studies in the event that face-to-face teaching session is not possible.

NSWCCPE acknowledges that students need to share their Pastoral Encounter Reviews (PERs) with their peers and supervisors via email and/or Moodle.

 

This agreement seeks to ensure that students understand and maintain confidentiality and privacy requirements when accessing and sharing Pastoral Encounter Reviews.

 

Students agree to

1.      Respect and maintain privacy and confidentiality requirements

2.      Delete from my computer PERs belonging to my peers once the group session is over

3.      Destroy/shred any hard copies of PERs belonging to my peers

4.      Not retain any copies of PERs in any form that are not my own work

 

 

Student and Supervisor confidentiality

 

Students and Supervisors agree to:

 

1.      hold data in confidence and share it only with necessary parties

2.      observe confidentiality in a manner consistent with legal requirements

 

Committee Members confidentiality

 

Committee members serving on NSWCCPE Committees agree to:

 

1.      not reveal any Confidential Information to any person outside of the Committee or relevant staff.

2.      to keep all Confidential Information secret and confidential

3.      not make copies or duplicates of Confidential Information except to the extent that it is reasonably necessary to carry out their duties.

 

The obligation to maintain confidentiality and not to use the Confidential Information shall remain in effect for an indefinite period
